A group of game developers from Orlando, Florida have created technology to be used in a new virtual reality experience scheduled for release at Kennedy Space Center next month. The Space Visor used in conjunction with a smartphone app will enable KSC visitors to immerse themselves in all things space, like touring the solar system or seeing up-close and personal the International Space Station. Phyken Media, the Orlando-based company responsible for the Space Visor Virtual Reality experience, has also opened a 2,500 sq. ft. coworking space for other video companies in the Orlando area. Owner Kunal Patel hopes that the KSC contract will be the first of his company’s many contract with high-profile clients.
