Recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) and General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China (GACC) have issued the N0.81 edict in 2016, which has clearly illustrated that 15 categories of exported goods including the toys, perambulators and child safety seats are free from the statutory inspection since from September 1st, 2016. This is of great significance to the toy industry of the whole China.
China, as the biggest manufacturer and exporter all over the world, produces more than two thirds of global toys products. The export toys in China has been growing for consecutive five years with annual growth rate of 14.3%, occupying the world’s biggest market.
However, even with the increasing export data, domestic toys suffered heavy loss for being detained by customs, nor being sold in overseas. There are almost 274 bulletins on the European and America export children goods, accounting for 50.37% of the total while the toys takes 75% of it.
